The Civics & Citizenship professional development seminars are a collaborative initiative between the Commissioner for Children and Young People, the Parliament of South Australia, and the Department for Education, aimed at developing South Australian teachers’ knowledge of and access to civics information and resources.

The 2023 series ran over a series of 9 weeks, covering topics ranging from South Australia’s law-making system, to the role of the Governor.
